Sina Jangjoo

Welcome to my website!

My name is Sina Jangjoo, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University. My research explores the intersections of energy and environmental policy, socio‐technical transitions, and governance, with a particular focus on bridging institutional voids and advancing sustainable policy solutions.  My background is in urban planning and public administration, holding an MPA with specialized certificates in Civic and Nonprofit Management, along with a Master of Science in Urban Planning.

Currently, my dissertation explores the evolution of governance and the dynamic roles of nonprofits in shaping innovative policy responses to renewable energy transition and environmental challenges. Beyond my research, I actively contribute to the academic and professional community, serving as President of the Public Administration Graduates Association at Florida State University and engaging in various leadership and teaching roles that underscore my commitment to sustainable and equitable urban development.

This website is a window into my research, teaching, and professional endeavors as I work to contribute meaningfully to the fields of science, technology and environmental policy, urban governance, and nonprofit management.
